Why You SHOULDN’T Have New Years Resolutions

NewYearsResolutions

Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m all for people making positive changes in their lives. My message here is that most people making New Years resolutions simply will NOT stick to them or complete them as they want to. Why? Because they’re using the New Year as their reasoning to make change. If you want to truly make a change, you need to have the mindset to do so at any time. One of the biggest differences I’ve noticed between successful and unsuccessful people is proper planning and goal setting. Successful people generally don’t have New Years resolutions, they might chase after those goals they’ve had even harder, but they’re typically not making any huge changes JUST because it’s the New Year.

You want to stand out and be successful? Toss the “New Years” reasonings aside. Start writing down your goals for EVERY aspect of your life. Don’t just write them down once either, write them down every, single, day. Write down your work goals, your health/fitness goals, your love/relationship goals, your day to day goals, your monthlong goals, hell, even your yearly goals. Get where I’m going here? If you truly want to be successful, especially with your “resolutions”, you need to stay driven and keep your goals in front of you and in the front of your brain.

Nothing is impossible. Impossible is nothing.
